Gary Adriaensen is a semi-professional race car driver from Belmont, Ontario, Canada. With 20 consecutive seasons of racing entering the 2019 campaign, Gary is one of the most decorated drivers in Delaware Speedway’s modern era.
After starting in the Delaware Speedway Enduro division in 1999, Gary moved into the wildly popular Truck Series 8 years later. With 14 wins to his name in the division, Gary reached the top step of the points standings in 2012 when he earned his first championship. One year later Gary become a back-to-back champion. 2014 brought change to the Adriaensen Motorsports stable with a move to the Super Stocks. After winning most sportsmanlike and Rookie of the Year the same season, Gary would go on to become a champion of the series in 2015. After another championship in 2018, Gary acquired a McColl Racing Enterprises built Pro Late Model. The storied career for Gary will continue in 2019 with a push for the Rookie of the Year and championship in the top level of short track racing. With plans of a partial APC United Late Model Series schedule in addition, the next chapter is officially underway.
